Exciting news! I just finished a freelance gig for Origin Nile Films last month! I animated a scene for Gorgeous Knight, their upcoming film. It was my first time working on a movie and it was definitely a great experience. I hope I can work with them again soon. I can't wait to see my name on the credits.

Internship!

This is actually old news but I'm finally got a chance to post on my blog. I recently managed to land an internship at Phoenix Online Studios, a nonprofit Video Game Studio based out in Florida. I'm working on a PC game, I posted the logo above. I been there since January and it's pretty awesome. I'm finally getting the experience that I've always wanted.

Plus I've got some new portfolio pieces coming down the pipe. Busy busy!

I'm slowly trying to get back into After Effects. Just for fun.

Needs more drawing

So I've been doing some research, I started following some Pixar animators. I figured if I can learn some thing from them, the better I'll be. Here's what I learned, I don't draw nearly enough. I really need to stay on my grind and keep my 2d skills rolling. Seeing all these sketches is really getting a fire going. So looks like I better get to it.

I've decided to use my blog more. So I'm going to update with not only my new animations, but with just all around cool content that interests me.

Updates!

I finally finished my first freelance job a few weeks ago. Truly a learning experience. I've decided to go back to my roots a bit and get back into storyboarding. So hopefully I can get some new work up here soon. Keep ya posted!

Back to work

Well it seems that my break is over. Thanks to my friend Nate, I got a freelance gig. I'll be animating a scene from the book: The Kids at Latimar High. I have to animate a whole dance scene. Its going to take a few weeks to get this done, look out for updates soon!
